O: White Point Park Hike. 7.5 miles long, 860-foot gain, 3.5 hours. Meet at 8:00 AM. Take Palos Verdes Drive South to La Rotonda Drive to end, and into the trail parking lot (inside the gate). Please arrive early. We will take the Prickly Pear, Ocean Vista, East Portal, Catalina, Gnatcatcher, Shoreline Park and Sagebrush Walk Trails to White Point Park and the beach. Wear footwear with good traction, bring a snack and water. If you anticipate rain, wear rain gear. No dogs. Minors are permitted if accompanied on the hike by a parent.
