James Dumhart, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, will provide a tour of the Piney Point Aquaculture Center. The Aquaculture Center is the Fisheries Service's shellfish hatchery in St. Mary's County. The facility specializes in oyster production and related services to support oyster habitat restoration projects, the aquaculture industry, the commercial fishing industry and the Marylanders Grow Oysters (MGO) program. Close-toed shoes are recommended.
