O: Peck Park Hike

O: Peck Park Hike. 4.2 miles long, 480-foot gain, 2.5 hours. Meet at 8:00 AM in the parking lot of Peck Park in San Pedro. The entrance to the park is at the south-east corner of Western Avenue and West Crestwood Street. We will meet 200 yards into the first parking lot, near the playground equipment. Please arrive early. We will walk through Peck Park, Leland Park, Bendini Canyon Park, Rena Park and back through Peck Park. Wear footwear with good traction, bring a snack and water. Steady rain cancels. No dogs. Minors are permitted if accompanied on the hike by a parent. This is a front country outing. Leaders: Steven Morris and Michael Dillenback.
