We will show our support for National Parks, park staff and organizations that support parks at all levels by joining a hike in the park led by Sierra Club Outings Leaders.



The 2.5 mile hike to the top of Mt Joy is an easy to moderate past several historic sites in Valley Forge National Historic Park. Including:

• The Redoubt
• Innerline Defense

The group is limited in size to 15. So please only register if you fully intend to participate.

Open to adults and children that can handle the 2.5 mile hike, or kids in backpacks. The loop hike should take about 1 hour. The trail does have some poison ivy, a steep climb and two sets of stairs without rails. Please consider bringing a walking stick if you think you may need them. Also, consider wearing a hat for added protection.

This hike is part of the Support Our National Parks event hosted by Sierra Club and others.
