Trail Talk: Beginner Car Camping

Planning your first car camp, or are you a seasoned car camper?  Learn the tricks of the trade of a successful car camp. Karla Kellems will walk through the steps of car camping, with topics that include:  Campground selection, equipment, meals, and enjoyable activities.  She’ll also let you in on her car camping secrets and hacks.  Register for this Zoom event so you don’t miss this educational opportunity to learn more about car camping.

Karla Kellems is an outings Leader for the San Bernardino Mountains Group Sierra Club, and specializes in Car Camping.  She’s also on the Mountains Group Executive Committee as the Outings and Programs Chair. Karla is on the San Gorgonio Chapter Sierra Club Outings Leader Training Team, and the Chapters Executive Committee as Vice-Chair.  She also serves as the Health & Safety Institute Director for Sierra Club National.

The Trail Talk presentations are free, open to the public, and held virtually via Zoom, usually on the third Wednesday of the month.    You must register for this event to receive the Zoom link to join the Zoom meeting.  The Zoom presentations are recorded and posted on the San Gorgonio Chapter YouTube channel at  <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyAdZHrKjo1USymvwtrEmEA/videos> for convenient viewing at any time.
