O:Tuesday moderate easy paced hike: Chumash

This is a 5 mile hike with 1100 feet of elevation gain. We will hike up chaparral cloaked Santa Susana Mtns. through sculpted sandstone rock formations with a series of scenic overlooks. Meet at 7:30am at the trailhead 3200 Flanagan Drive. From the 118 fwy take Yosemite Ave exit, go North and turn right on Flanagan Dr., continue 0.8 miles to end and park. Bring water, lug soles, snacks, hat and sunscreen. Leaders: Sharon Kent and Heidi Lennartz
