O: Tue Moderate easy pace Hikers / Calabasas Peak via Secret Trail

Moderately paced 4 mile hike with 950 ft elevation gain to the top for great multi- Valley views at one ofthe highest peaks in the Santa Monica Mtns. Wonderful rock formations and flowers; waterfalls afterrains, too! Meet 7:30AM at trailhead on Mulholland Hwy. From 101 Ventura Fwy, exit Valley Circle/Mulholland Dr., exit south approximately 1.5 mile, turn right on Valmar Rd (becomes Old Topanga Cyn Rd) for 1 miles and turn right on Mulholland. Hwy for 1.5 miles. Trailhead is on left (south) side of road. Park off highway on dirt shoulder, left or right. Bring water, snack, hiking boots, hat, sunscreen. Leaders: Heidi Lennartz, Fritz Lauer
