Come explore Meinert Park for several hours in northern Muskegon County, on the shores of Lake Michigan. This moderate hike will take you up and over dunes, through woods, fields, and along wetlands. We will be bushwacking a bit, so please wear long pants and appropriate footwear. We’ll take water breaks along the way to stay refreshed. We recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat, and bug spray for comfort and protection.
A bathroom is available at the parking area, accessible at both the beginning and end of the hike. Any vehicle entering Meinert Park of Muskegon County Parks is required to have a parking pass. A day pass is $7, and a Seasonal Park Pass is $25. The season is the calendar year starting January 2025 to the end of December 2025.
