Join us Saturday, July 19, 2025, 2:00 pm for approximately one hour for a relaxing forest bathing exercize with Donna.
Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku as it's known in Japan, is a practice of immersing oneself in nature, particularly forests, to promote physical and mental well-being. It involves slowing down, paying attention to one's surroundings through the senses, and connecting with the natural environment. The goal is to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall health.
Meet at campsite. We will walk to the nearest patch of forest.
Bring a chair and water bottle. Be mindful of the need for bug spray and sun protection. Wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Level: Easy
Cost: Lum's Pond entry fee is $4 for Delaware tagged vehicle and $8 for out of state vehicle.
