Backpack along the coast of Point Reyes National Seashore and spend two nights camping near the beach. On the first day, we will hike 7 miles through the forest and meadow from the Bear Valley Visitor Center to Coast Camp and see how the area has recovered from the wildfire a few years ago. On Coast Camp Beach, we can walk down the beach to find tidepools.  If the tide is low, we can continue to Sculpture Beach.  In the evening, we will watch the sunset from the beach while eating our dinners, and afterward, we will have a potluck dessert. The next day, we will start backpacking along the coastal bluffs for 8 miles to Wildcat Beach.  Once we are at Wildcat Beach, there is an optional 2-mile round-trip hike to Alamere Falls along the beach (tides permitting).  The next day, we will climb up and over the ridge for 5.8 miles back to the Bear Valley trailhead.
