O: Tue Conditioned Hikers: De Anza Park to Mash Site
Strenuous hike with 14 miles and 1900' gain. Talepop Trail, Liberty Canyon fire road, Phantom Trail, Cistern Trail, Century Lake to Mash Site for lunch. Return through Crag High Road, Grassland Trail, Las Virgenes fire road. Directions to the trailhead: Exit 101 Freeway at Lost Hills Road, go South on Lost Hills Road and drive a mile towards the ocean and De Anza Park is on the right before Las Virgenes Road. Bring: Bring water, lunch, hiking boots/shoes, hat and sun screen.
Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
