O: Mt. Waterman 8038'
O: Mt. Waterman 8038. Named after Bob and Liz Waterman who crossed over the peak in 1889. Come join us on this beautiful high-country hike in the San Gabriels. Several ski lifts ascend the north slope and when conditions are right it is known for its winter sports. Our route to the peak will begin from Buckhorn on the eastern side of the mountain. Well behaved dogs are welcome. All dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length. The stats for the day will be 6 miles R/T and 1300 elevation gain. This is a backcountry outing, and a medical form is required: https://tinyurl.com/ycy985mt.
