The Colorado Sierra Club Steering Committee will be meeting to discuss the future of local organizing in Northern Colorado.

We believe that we need to set a foundation for ongoing, longer-term growth in northern Colorado, with a priority of inclusivity and equity, so that we can be a diverse, welcoming, and powerful movement no matter where we work in the state. 

Thus, this meeting with the Steering Committee is to determine the dissolution of the Poudre Canyon Group. The Steering Committee is considering this action because it has an obligation to act in the best interest of the Sierra Club and its members. Dissolution, we believe, has the best long-term success at winning environmental victories while welcoming vibrant, inclusive leadership for all of the work we do in northern Colorado.

Sierra Club Members are welcome to join the call and provide comments before any final decision is made by the Steering Committee. 

The meeting will be for members only, and you must sign up at least 24 hours in advance so we can verify your membership. 

Any member wishing to speak will indicate their desire to do so and will be allowed 3 minutes. We will take questions in the order in which you signed up for the event. You must sign up at least 24 hours before the meeting so we can ensure we have you on the list. We will have up to 30 minutes for folks to speak before the Steering Committee makes any final decisions. 

Zoom information will be provided around 24 hours before the start of the meeting.
