Mobile Botanical Gardens: Education and Conservation

Dr. Cynthia Klemmer, Executive Director of Mobile Botanical Gardens, will speak on conservation and education at the Gardens. Dr. Klemmer earned her PhD in Horticultural Science at Texas A&M University and her M.S. in Public Horticulture Administration from the Longwood Graduate Program at the University of Delaware. After over 25 years of experience in public horticulture and botanical gardens management, she moved to Mobile to serve as Executive Director of Mobile Botanical Gardens.Dr. Klemmer has worked in the interface of plants and people throughout her career. She has a passion for creating meaningful an engaging nature-based programs that form lasting impressions and cultivate increased environmental ethic and knowledge for visitors.
