Regulatory Comment Writing Workshop

Regulatory rulemaking is one of the most important steps in the process of turning policy into action to protect our air and health. Many agencies have public participation a variety of rulemaking proceedings, and are those agencies are legally required to address comments made by the public in substantive ways. This means participating in rulemaking is one of the most impactful ways to make sure environmental justice and climate are taken into account when decisions are made.

Telling a compelling story with your comment is an important step to ensuring that your participation in the process is as impactful as possible. There are few things more motivating to a public official finalizing a decision than the personal stories of those impacted by the outcome.

Please join us at this Regulatory Comment Writing Workshop on August 6th from 6-9pm hosted with Clean Power Lake County to learn how to write effective comments using narrative tools to shape the story you decide to tell.
