Icehouse Saddle Hike
Saturday, July 12, 2025 – 6:00 AM
This will be a strenuous hike from Icehouse Canyon up to Icehouse Saddle (elevation 7,632 ft), approximately 7.2 miles round trip with about 2,600 ft. of elevation gain. The well-maintained trail features steady incline for the first mile along the stream under a canopy of oak, maple, cedar, and pine trees, passing old cabins and creek crossings before switchbacking into the Cucamonga Wilderness. This hike requires baseline fitness and the ability to handle sustained climbing at moderate elevation. Rain cancels. BRING: sturdy hiking boots, 2+ liters of water, snack/lunch, sunscreen, trekking poles (recommended), signed Sierra Club medical form, and layered clothing appropriate for mountain weather. An Adventure Pass is required for parking. PARKING: Park at the Icehouse Canyon Trailhead off Mt. Baldy Road. Arrive early, as this is a popular trailhead and parking fills quickly. Be sure to display your Adventure Pass on your dashboard. LEADER: Alexis Lopez, (909) 714-2205, alexis.l.lopez@outlook.com LOS SERRANOS GROUP
