Green Steps: Trail, Creek & Wetlands Cleanup,  is a Sierra Club Outing dedicated to protecting our local environment and keeping our natural spaces clean and beautiful. We invite volunteers to take action against plastic pollution and litter along the trail, creek, boardwalk, and surrounding wetlands.

Our goal is to help preserve the habitat of aquatic animals, support healthy plant life, and maintain a safe, clean environment for everyone. Together, we will remove visible trash, plastics, and other debris from the area while raising awareness about plastic pollution (micro and Nano-ranges) and the importance of environmental sustainability.

This is a great opportunity to make a real impact, meet new people and give back to nature. Bring a friend!

NB: At 9 AM, we will assemble at Crabtree Creek Public Parking, Raleigh NC. 27604

What to Wear

• Comfortable clothing and Sturdy shoes – Closed-toe shoes or boots recommended for safety.

• Sun protection – Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen

• Positive energy and a willingness to help nature

We Provide:
 

• Trash bags, Trash pickers or grabbers and nets.

• Gloves

• Refreshments (water and snacks)
