Meet at 9:30 AM at the Music Stand just east of the Piper Palm House which is just east of Center Drive. Coordinates: 38.607635, -90.255667

Parking: The Park will be VERY busy. Driving and parking will be a challenge. I suggest that you park on either Magnolia or Arsenal near the Center Cross Drive entrances to the park. Walk to the Music Stand.

Description:
1. Walk about 1.6 miles in the western part of the park with a stop in the Bird Garden and passing by the new prairie landscapes. On your phones, I will show you how to use Tower Grove Park’s Interactive map to identify trees and other structures.
2. Meander through the 40+ vendors in the TGP Farmers’ Market featuring fresh local produce and meats, food trucks, and local crafts.
3. Empanadas? Curries? Baklava? Craft Beers? Then proceed to the food, crafts, music, and dancing representing 60+ nations for the Festival of Nations. Stay as long as you wish.

The organizer, the International Institute, proclaims,
“We are one region made up of people and cultures from around the globe. It is the unity of these cultures that defines who we are as a community. Music, food, art and traditions mix and mingle to create an expansive definition of our collective humanity”

Difficulty: Easy on pavement or grass for about 2 miles.
