Education & Advocacy

We are excited to announce the return of our highly successful Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP), now in its 10th edition! For nine consecutive years, the program has provided participants with engaging educational presentations, films, and opportunities to take action. Many ESP graduates have gone on to run for local and state office or assumed leadership roles in their communities, including within the Sierra Club. This year's ESP 10.0 will focus on critical environmental issues, and we will mentor participants who choose to work on advocacy projects. We look forward to another impactful year!

Program

There will be eight monthly critical issue meetings on the second Thursday starting in October 2025. The sessions are all in-person at the Chapter office in Palo Alto and include a social dinner that precedes the program. The program fee of $150 covers the cost of 8 monthly sessions and includes dinners, films, and other materials, as needed.
