Peter Marra, emeritus senior scientist of the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center, shares his research examining the role of climate crisis, habitat, food, and pathogens, as well as other issues affecting the population loss of migratory and resident birds.
A panel discussion at 7 p.m. (following the 6 p.m. presentation) will publicly address the impact of free-roaming cats on native wildlife and what should be done about it.
