This is an easy paddle that puts us in at the convergence of two tributaries that flow into the St. Johns River. The water will be calm. Our first section of paddling will be over an open body of water that gradually flows into a shaded canopy of quiet tree covered water. We will paddle for a while then return to Hood Landing.

Cost: Free

Signup Instructions: Sign up online to give more time for loading boats at the launch site or sign up after you arrive

Bring: Kayak, PFD (Type 3 or 5 only), Whistle and Water

Additional Directions: Bring plenty of water, sun spray, and small snacks if desired. Group will follow "pack it in - pack it out". Life jackets will be worn while paddling.

Cancellation Policy: Activity is held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather
