Please join us for a fairly strenuous though beautiful loop, out of Mill Valley.
We will start off climbing the Dipsea steps among the towering redwoods, which are the equivalent of a
50 story building. We’ll hike forested trails past the Tourist Club and descend into Muir Woods. After a
visit in Muir Woods, we will rejoin the Dipsea trail back to our starting point. Please wear good gripping
shoes, bring lunch and be prepared for sun and cool weather. There is a significant amount of climbing
and descent on this hike. If you use poles, please bring them.
Meet at Old Mill Park in Mill Valley for a prompt 10:00 am departure. There are bathrooms at the
trailhead. There is parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Be aware of any signs with parking limits
posted.

Bring: Please wear good grippingshoes, bring lunch and be prepared for sun and cool weather. If you use poles, please bring them.

Signup Restrictions: No dogs please. 20 participants max.
