I: Winter Bus Trip to Mammoth Mountain - January
Resort ski or snowboard on Mammoth Mtn. Daily backcountry (BC) ski tours and leisurely paced snowshoe tours with the leaders. Cross-country ski (XC) on your own at Tamarack. Learn to ski in the backcountry with our instructors. Newcomers & non-skiers welcome. Tons of stuff to do in Mammoth in winter. Hotel in Mammoth Lakes, double occupancy, 2 beds/private bath, close to shopping, night life, casual and fine dining, free shuttles. Leave Orange County 2:00 pm, Sylmar pick-up later. Return Orange County Sunday approx 10 pm. Includes bus, lodging, hotel breakfast, Sunday dinner on bus. Drinks provided on the bus and on Saturday night for potluck Happy Hour. Lift tickets, trail passes, and equipment rentals are NOT included (backcountry ski rental $65/day). Register on-line with your email address, phone, cell phone, pick up location (Orange County or San Fernando Valley). Please indicate your activity interest: BC ski touring, BC ski lesson (Sat only), BC snowshoeing, resort skiing/riding, XC track skiing. (NOTE: backcountry activities, including ski lessons, are strenuous. Contact leaders regarding minimum physical conditioning, equipment required.) Bring: Gear for your activities (unless renting), including travelling outdoors in the winter (layers of clothing, sunglasses/goggles, knapsack for lunch, water bottles, etc.). Food for the bus ride to Mammoth. Completed Medical Form.
Signup Restrictions: If, on the day of the event, you are feeling ill please do not join this trip.
Cancellation Policy: This activity is held rain, snow, or shine. But could be altered by severe winter weather. A reservation cancelled by an individual participant is only refundable if the spot is filled by another participant.
