Hear ye! Hear ye!

Good people of Bend, your City Councilors shall soon decide our climate future this coming October. We beseech thee to remember: there is nothing scarier than climate change!

Thus, we extend a most cordial invitation to a series of spooky gatherings. At these events, thou shalt uncover the dark secrets of fossil fuels in our homes, learn of policies to safeguard thy humble quarters, and break bread with fellow townsfolk whilst plotting a climate safe future

Shouldst thou feel inspired, don thy most fearsome attire (costume) — especially at the grand protest! The full schedule of eerie happenings is listed below.

Sunday, October 19th - Action Night and Art Build

Time: 4pm - 7pm
Location: Open Space, 220 NE Lafayette Ave, Bend, OR 97701 
Description: Create signs and other visuals for the protest, learn about Energize Bend and the policy we’re pushing for, training for people interested in canvassing, snacks provided! Drop in whenever!

Monday, October 20th - Haunt the Block Canvassing

Time: 4:30pm - 6pm
Location: Compass Park  - 2500 NW Crossing Dr, Bend, OR 97703 
Description: Go door to door spreading electrification information and action items. A trick or treat for a clean future if you will! Attendance at the action night is required to canvass 

Wednesday, October 22th - Nothing is Scarier than Climate Change Protest & Sit In

Time: Protest @ 2:30pm - 3:45pm. Sit-in @ 4pm - 5:30pm
Location: Peace Corner & City Hall - 710 NW Wall St, Bend
Description: Protest, march through downtown, sit in on council work time to hear their decision on electrification

Signup Instructions: Please check the corresponding boxes for the days you will be in attendance. Reminder, action night pre-training is required to canvass on Monday (10/20).
