I have room for 9 people to join me to hike from the Long Valley Ranger Station at 8,400 ft to Mt. San Jacinto Peak at 10,804 ft. We pass through pine forests to come to an amazing view of the desert valley far below. This will require the stamina to hike at a steady pace at this altitude. We will take one of the earlier trams up from Palm Springs. That costs $35. Parking is $15. Interested participants can organize a carpool.
