Lake Earle Conservation Trust from
Erica Moulton. Erica will be sharing with us the history of the Earle home in Dunedin, the Lake Earle Conservation Trust, and the hopes for the future of this blue-green connection to the Florida Gulf Hope Spot.
Erica Moulton is a marine explorer, educator, and science communicator whose career spans over 25 years of ocean research, conservation, and STEM leadership. A Member of the Explorer’s Club, Erica was inducted in 2021during the 40th Anniversary of women’s admittance to the Club, a reflection of the time when the first 16 women were admitted. Moulton is the Founder and Director of the Center for Open Exploration (C4OE), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing ocean literacy, technology access, and community-based science from the Arctic to the Maldives. C4OE is proud to be the fiscal sponsor of the Lake Earle Conservation Trust (LECT) and helps to oversee it efforts to create examples of thriving blue-green ecosystems. In her day job Moulton serves as Assistant Dean of Natural Sciences at St. Petersburg College, where she directs STEM initiatives, manages grants, and develops programs to prepare the next generation of ocean technology professionals.Learn more about Lake Earle Conservation Trust
