This past summer Sheldon Schafer traveled to the North Atlantic. In his presentation he will present the highlights of his travels, including trips to Iceland, Greenland, and Newfoundland.
Sheldon Schafer retired in 2014 after 38 years as the Director of Education and Planetarium Curator at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. Schafer’s life has been full of adventure, from his 27 months in the Peace Corps, to creating the world’s largest model of the solar system.
