FLORIDA  WILDLIFE  CORRIDOR
Program: Successes and challenges of establishing a Wildlife Corridor in Florida. Allyn Childress, Conservation Director of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation (FWCG) reviews the history and current status of the corridor, focusing on local counties of Palm Beach, Martin and Broward.

Speaker: Allyn Childress is a certified planner with 30 years of experience in environmental policy, interagency coordination, strategic planning, and science communications. Allyn has worked for academia, governmental agencies, and NGOs. Prior to joining FWCF, she worked with the U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of Everglade Restoration Initiatives.  

Event is being held in the Hutcheson Complex, located in the rear of the Mounts property. It is the large white building in the map below. Park in the front parking lot, enter through the Garden Entrance and check in at the front desk. Follow the signs to the Hutcheson Complex, a 5 minute walk.

Cost: FREE to members registered by Jan 15

Signup Instructions: Register by Jan 15 to attend for free. Attendees not registered by Thursday, Jan 15, 2026 or not members of Mounts Botanical Garden, must pay the Mounts Entrance Fee of $20 (Seniors-$18) to enter and attend the event.

Additional Directions: The event is being held in the Hutcheson Complex in the rear of the Mounts property. Attendees must park in the front parking lot, enter through the Garden Entrance. A list of Registered Members will be at the front desk and those on the list will enter for free. Follow the signs and walk back to the Complex.
