Following this year’s landslide election results, the Virginia climate movement is in an exciting position right now. With a Governor-elect who campaigned on energy affordability and reigning in the impacts of data centers, we have the wind at our backs. Add that to the 13 seats picked up by Democrats in the House of Delegates, and we have as strong a directive as ever to enact strong policies in Richmond that center clean energy, affordability, and public health. It’s up to us, the people of Virginia, to make sure legislators capitalize on this moment to bring about cleaner air, lower electric bills, and a more sustainable future for all. Join us for our 2026 Climate Lobby Day to channel our collective voices into action as we lobby for priority legislation. Whether you have lobbied for years or are brand new, this event is welcome to you. This is a free event, and training and lunch will be provided.
