Let's take a longer trip into the Okefenokee Swamp -- a three hour tour!  Guided by a top naturalist we will explore the ecosystem in greater depth.  Then a tasty lunch back at the launch will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, beans, tea and dessert. 

Next we will search the nesting areas for Red-cockaded Woodpeckers, and Bachman's Sparrow and Sandhill Cranes.  

Can you imagine living in the Swamp?  The Chesser family raised three generations in a cabin there, so we will visit that, walk the nature trail out back and finally walk the boardwalk out over the prairie and marsh. 

 Bring your binoculars and do not forget your long lens cameras!
