Join the Sierra Club Delaware Chapter for an evening of wonder under the moonlight at the Mount Cuba Observatory. We’ll explore features of our nearest celestial neighbor and learn how the Moon connects to Earth’s ecosystems... from tides and animal behavior to human culture. Telescopes will be available, but the real focus is community: sharing awe, conversation, and connection under the same night sky.  Light refreshments will be served.

This event was rescheduled from early January for better Moon viewing, we hope you can still join us!

Cost: 10.00

Bring: There is an indoor room that will be open during the event for those who want to pop indoors to warm up, however most of the event will be outside on the observation deck, so dress accordingly with gloves, hat and a warm winter coat.

Additional Directions: The driveway is a little difficult to spot in the dark, so maybe give yourself an extra few minutes to find it if you aren't familiar with entering the property. This event unavoidably requires going up and down several flights of stairs. Also note that this event is inherently subject to viewing conditions which are out of anyone's control.
