An easy to moderate 4mi amble on a trail along a ridge, on a paved path around a reservoir and up and down 400' of slopes and steps to a wooded stream. The route starts at the main parking lot for Oak Canyon Nature Center, a wilderness park in the Anaheim Hills, and follows a trail at the park's north perimeter, connecting with a paved path around the Walnut Canyon Reservoir. We'll then descend to a trail near the stream and along the south side of the wilderness park and back to our cars. Meet at 1:30pm in the parking lot near the picnic tables and restrooms. From Nohl Ranch Road turn onto E. Walnut Canyon Road and go to the very end of the road; either park on the street or make a left and park in the dirt parking lot. Bring water, a snack, sturdy shoes and $$ for optional early dinner afterward.

Level: Moderate

Cancellation Policy: Any rain cancels
