Sierra Club General Meeting – Guest Speaker: Cesar Vasquez

Join us for our upcoming Sierra Club General Meeting featuring guest speaker Cesar Vasquez, a 18-year-old community organizer and immigrant rights activist from Santa Maria, California. Cesar’s work focuses on supporting undocumented families, advancing community defense, and building youth-led power across the Central Coast.

Environmental justice and immigrant justice are deeply connected. Farmworker communities and undocumented families are often the most impacted by environmental hazards, climate change, and unsafe working conditions. Through his organizing with La Cultura Del Mundo and the 805 UndocuFund Rapid Response Network, Cesar works at the intersection of community protection, labor rights, and environmental justice.

This conversation will help amplify Cesar’s work within the environmental movement and explore how solidarity between environmental and immigrant justice efforts strengthens our collective impact.
