A bathroom is available in the Water Resources Education Center.

Hike Description
We will start at the City of Vancouver Water Resources Education Center entrance. The 2-mile hike will be a wide paved path to Wintler Park along the edge of riparian cottonwood forests and the views of the river along the river edge of the large Tidewater Cove development.  We will  rest for 15 mintes at Wintler Park,  with an optional hike on the sand to the river. On the way back to the Water Resources Education Center, we will include a short side walk to the marina breakwater with views of Mount Hood. 


If you are not feeling well, stay home and rest, and come next time.

Weather:  The current forecast for January 13 at 1 pm is 47 degrees, 4% chance of rain, 80 percent sunshine, and light wind.  The forecast is changeable; be prepared for showers and wind. 

Bring water and optional snacks.

Cancel if:  icy, thunderstorms, cold and heavy rain, or under 40 degrees.
