Join us as we casually hike/walk from Quail Hill in Irvine to Turtle Rock Community Park where we will take a break under the trees and have a snack, for up to 5 miles and 350' gain. We will return the same way. We might see some wildlife, such as coyotes, soaring hawks, or maybe a golfer or two. Possibly great views, weather permitting. Meet in the parking lot at 9:00 AM. We will start at the Quail Hill Community Center parking lot, at 39 Shady Canyon Drive in Irvine. From the 405 freeway, take the Sand Canyon exit and head south, go past the roundabout, park in the second parking lot on your left (at the Community Center). Bring snacks, water, comfortable hiking/walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, light jacket. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead and at mid-point at Turtle Rock Park.
