Join us for this scenic hike, with some beautiful long-range views on the Mountains-to-Sea trail in Ox Creek. Hike is rated moderate at approximately 3.9 miles with 882 feet of elevation gain. Plan for approximately 3.5 hours, including travel to and from trailhead.

Join us for this scenic 3.9-mile hike along the Rattlesnake Lodge section of the Mountain-to-Sea Trail in Ox Creek. The trail is a moderate out-and-back trail that has excellent mountain views for most of the hike and a sheltered loop through a forest of mountain laurels.

Meeting Place
The meeting place details will be shared upon registration through the Sierra Club's Campfire portal event page. Hike is limited to 10 participants. Hike leader is Amber Fox (amber.ahrens@hotmail.com).

Signup Instructions: Register through the Sierra Club Campfire Event.

Bring: Hiking poles are always encouraged. Bring sturdy hiking boots/shoes, and layered clothing. Bring 1-2 liters of water, and snacks. Depending on the temperature, bring gloves and a coat and hat. Hike will be rescheduled if temperatures are predicted to be extremely cold, steady rain, and/or in case of winter storm weather forecast.

Cancellation Policy: Extreme winter conditions or steady rain cancels.
