Belleview Farm Work Party
West of Castlewood State Park, Belleview Farm Park is a natural treasure with an incredible view of the Meramec Valley and 100 acres of woodland and meadow. It was donated to St. Louis County by environmentalist Harold Donnelly upon his death, to be held as a wildlife nature preserve in perpetuity. Friends of Belleview is working in partnership with Wildwood parks and recreation to restore the park and open it to the public. Approximately 25 acres havebeen cleared of invasive, 5 acres of Prairie restoration are in progress, a native garden featuring native prairie plants is now established and riparian buffers protect a creek bed and two natural springs.
