Loxahatchee Group - Slow Down & Look Closer: Yamato Scrub Hike

Join us for a relaxed, exploratory morning hike through Yamato Scrub Natural Area (701 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton, FL 33487). Well begin on the blue, paved accessible trail, then venture into the northern section of the Skyblue Lupine hiking trail, experiencing a mix of open scrub, pine flatwoods, and basin marsh along the way.This is a leisurely, curiosity-driven walk with time to observe native plants, seasonal changes, and wildlife while enjoying one of Palm Beach Countys remaining scrub ecosystems. Trail surfaces will include paved paths as well as uneven sandy trail with exposed roots, offering a gentle sense of adventure without rushing the experience.Group size is limited due to parking availability. Please note that there are no restrooms or drinking water available on site, so plan ahead to stay comfortable and enjoy the outing fully.

We’ll begin on the blue, paved accessible trail, then venture into the northern section of the Skyblue Lupine hiking trail, experiencing a mix of open scrub, pine flatwoods, and basin marsh along the way.
