Join us for a hands-on stewardship day at Vosburg Neck State Park as we work together to remove invasive plant species lining the trails and make space for native plants to thrive at one of our newest State Parks.

This event will run from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and is not a hike, just a friendly helping hand to nature. We’ll be working in a small area along designated trails, focusing on simple invasive removal tasks that are accessible to a wide range of participants. Total distance covered will be up to a mile depending on how far we get but you can always explore more of the park after we finish up for the day.

🧤 Gloves and basic gear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you prefer.

No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to help care for the land and support healthy ecosystems. Come lend a hand and be part of restoring native habitat at Vosburg! This is a family friendly outing but may not be suitable for younger family members. Since we'll be actively removing invasive species from the sides of the trail we also ask that four legged family members stay at home for this one.
