Portland Action Night: CEI Hub Planning Commission Debrief

The city of Portland's Critical Energy Infrastructure (CEI) Hub policy project includes a review of the city's zoning and planning codes governing a six mile stretch of NW Portland that houses 90% of the state's liquid fuel.Portlands Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) have been presenting recommended changes to the Planning Commission. Then, once the Planning Commission incorporates their own recommended changes a final draft will be presented to City Council.Once at Council we must be ready to act and speak to ensure the people have their voices heard! The project is currently slated to end in March so join us on Wednesday, Feb. 25 to learn more about the policy project, what is being proposed, and to prepare with others for written and verbal Council testimony.All are welcome, no experience required.

Portland’s Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) have been presenting recommended changes to the Planning Commission. Then, once the Planning Commission incorporates their own recommended changes a final draft will be presented to City Council.

Once at Council we must be ready to act and speak to ensure the people have their voices heard!
