Take Action to Protect People & the Planet at SLO Sierra Club's In-Person Action Hour!
We're taking Sierra Club’s Action Hours in-person! In just one hour, you'll get the latest updates on local, state and federal environmental efforts and take action to protect our climate, public lands, and democracy alongside your SLO County community.
📅Date: Wed. Feb. 25, 2026
📍Location: Hosted in San Luis Obispo (exact location emailed after registration)
🕕Time: 6pm-7:30pm
🍿Food: Potluck dinner, you're encouraged to bring food to share! Sierra Club will bring snacks.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLATE, SILVERWARE, NAPKINS, AND CUPS! THANK YOU!
🚗Parking: There is plenty of free parking
☎️&💻 Please bring a cellphone & laptop if you are able! Some, but not all, of our activities require a phone on hand or are easier done on a computer.
💌 And if you'd like to bring postcard stamps to contribute, we'd love to use em!

Event Schedule:
6:00 - 6:30 PM – Social Hour: Mingle with your fellow community members, while we set up our food and drinks.
6:30 - 7:30 PM – Our Earth Action Program: brief presentation from the Santa Lucia Chapter, Sierra Club National and then action activities led by Santa Lucia Chapter Leadership.
NEW ACTIONS EVERY MONTH! Sign-up to get updates about this month's action. The donation for this event is entirely optional. You're welcome to bring a cash donation if preferred, but please still register for the free ticket here so we know you're coming ☺️
