There are two eagles who return every year to this nest to raise one or two eaglets.  Depending on how far along the eaglets are in their development, they may still be hopping around in the nest & flapping their wings. Or they may already be going for short flights with their parents nearby.

Binoculars are required in order to view the birds.  You should also wear comfortable tennis shoes or boots since we may be walking through some high grasses on the river side of the levee.

Cost: Free

Bring: Binoculars, comfortable shoes/boots for high grass

Additional Directions: Parking is available in the parking lot across from the Vet School at River Road and Skip Bertman Drive.
