O-2: Pacific Crest Trail – Mount Jefferson Wilderness Backpack Trip

Beautiful backpack trip on the PCT from Santiam Pass to Wapinitia Pass going through the Mount Jefferson Wilderness in the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests.This trip covers PCT miles 2020.6 to 2089.7. Strenuous, but moderately paced, 87 miles, 7 days. Average of 13 miles, 1,400' elevation gain, and 1,600 elevation loss per day. There will be no resupply point on this trip. Participants are responsible for air travel from Burbank, CA to Bend, OR and hotel expense in Bend, OR. Group will share expense of shuttle van for airport and trailhead transportation. Sign up early. Trip does not qualify as a WTC Experience Trip. Backcountry outing; medical form required.
