On Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm, on Zoom and in person, at 800 N French Street, the New Castle County Council will discuss the data center ordinance. Let us know you're coming so we can share resources and updates.
To help prepare, we will be hosting a teach-in outside of the building at 5pm to help share information and answer any last minute questions about the ordinance. The Teach-In will be drop in style to help accomodate people coming from work. We highly recommend attending in person and coming early if possible so that we can show the sheet amount of support we have for this Ordinance.
Last time there was a vote, the room was packed about 40 minutes before it started, so arriving for the teach in will also help ensure you get a seat.
We recommend everybody draft 1-3 minute long comments about the ordinance itself and how it addresses your concerns about data centers.
