This moderate 5.6 mile trail in Sumter National Forest  traverses open pineland and damaged hardwood bottoms.  Certain areas of the trail are managed for Quail habitat.  We will eat lunch by Lick Fork.  Bring lunch, good walking shoes and plenty of water.  We will meet at Sportsman's Corner,  2002 Martintown Rd, Clarks Hill, SC 29821, at 9:30 and leave promptly at 9:40 to carpool to the Trailhead.   

Level: Moderate (5 miles 2.5 mph)

Bring: Good walking shoes, water, and a lunch.

Carpool: Meet at Sportsman Corner, 2002 Martin-town Road, Clarks Hill SC

Note: Carpool transportation is at the sole risk of the participants.
