- Threats to Public Lands in Alaska and Beyond, March 18 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET
- Alaska has more national public lands than any other state, but the Trump Administration has made it a priority to strip protections from these cherished places so that corporate polluters can increase drilling, logging, and mining while blocking access to the general public. Join Sierra Club and Americans for Alaska to learn more about these threats and how protections for Alaska's public lands influences states in the lower 48. We'll also talk about how to write your story about caring for land conservation, why it's important, and spend time at the end of the call taking action together.
- Defending the Endangered Species Act, April 14 at 4pm PT / 7pm ET
- The Endangered Species Act is the last line of defense for species facing extinction like the gray wolf, grizzly bear, salmon, and orca. Yet Trump and his allies in Congress are trying to undermine or completely erase this landmark legislation. Since being signed into law by President Nixon in the 1970s, the Endangered Species Act has been a tremendous success, restoring the populations of wildlife on the brink of extinction and providing a model to restore biodiversity across the globe. Join Sierra Club to learn about current threats to the Endangered Species Act, what we're doing about them, and how you can help.
- Protecting Our Oldest Forests, May 19 at 4pm PT / 7pm ET
