Walk for Water on March 14 to protect Indy's water from the LEAP industrial site. Join the Walk for Water on March 14 at 10:30 AM to walk across Eagle Creek Reservoir Bridge to advocate to protect our waterways from the LEAP industrial site. Citizens Energy and Lebanon Utilities plan to utilize Eagle Creek Reservoir and our broader water system as a source for millions of gallons of water for the LEAP industrial site and to return 100 million gallons a week of treated water from Lebanon and the LEAP industrial site. These plans have essentially been carried out in secret, without adequately alerting our city leaders or our community. Join the Walk for Water to call for studies, transparency, and protection for our drinking water and the Eagle Creek ecosystem.

We encourage biking, walking and carpooling to this activity - parking may be limited. Please plan to park around 10:00 AM, find parking at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex (across from Eagle Creek Reservoir, main entrance). Gather at the corner of 56th and Reed Road. The walk will begin at 10:30 AM.

Please register so that we can keep you up to date about this event and about this important issue. Learn more about this issue from our grassroots partner Protect Pike Township and sign the petition to Mayor Hogsett at sc.org/indymayor.
