Tough hike for/with blind, visually impaired people and volunteer sighted guides in Stough Canyon, Burbank. Sponsored by WAS and Hearts for Sight Foundation (heartsforsightfoundation.org.) Volunteer guides welcome and appreciated; no experience necessary. The group will climb steep dirt roads and trails up to the Verdugo Mountain Way Trail. This front country trail overlooks the eastern San Fernando Valley. The full route is about 4 miles with 1000' feet of gain. Lunch is provided. Include your dietary restrictions and cell number. SC and HFS liability waivers required. No pets, please. No unaccompanied minors.
