The Sierra Club will be planting 15 different species of native plants and flowers in the rehabbed storm water drainage area, along the creek, and in the floodway. We have 150 plants and need lots of hands to make this planting go quickly. A quick training will ensure the plants' survival. Snacks will be available during and after the planting exercise.
In the weeks following, we'll need volunteers to help water and weed around the plantings. A new volunteer registration will be made closer to the planting date.
Signup Instructions: Please wear closed toe shoes/boots, appropriate layers, and bring a friend!
Bring: Favorite Shovel/Hand Trowel
Additional Directions: Please park in the outermost spots of Kohl's parking lot. We'll walk down the bike trail to the planting location.
Cancellation Policy: Any rain cancels
