The Ogden Nature Center is hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 25 from 10 am to 3 pm, and we'll be there with a community booth for the Utah Renewable Communities program. We need volunteers to help us connect with Ogden residents about this opportunity for affordable clean energy.
As a tabling volunteer, you'll chat with neighbors and community members about what the Utah Renewable Communities program is, how it works, and why it matters for Ogden. You don't need to be an expert on energy policy. You just need to be friendly, curious, and willing to have real conversations with people in your community.
We'll set you up with everything you need before the event, including printed materials, talking points, a quick training walkthrough, and answers to the most common questions people ask. You'll never be at the table alone, and there will always be someone nearby who can help with anything that comes up.
